The UK Research Office (UKRO) has published their 2016-17 Annual Report and features a foreword by Professor Sir Ian Diamond, Principal and Vice Chancellor, University of Aberdeen and Chair of the Universities UK Research Policy Network.
UKRO is the European office of the UK Research Councils and delivers a subscription-based advisory service to its members (which includes Oxford) along with the UK National Contact Point helpdesks for the European Research Council and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions on behalf of the UK Government. The emphasis of UKRO’s work for the coming year will be on providing stability and continuity in terms of service delivery and policy support.
Their success depends on maintaining excellent relationships with a wide range of stakeholders primarily in Brussels and the UK. Christina Miller, UKRO director would like to thank all sponsors, subscribers and stakeholders for their support and active engagement with the work of the Office. If you would like further information about UKRO’s plans for the coming year or any aspect of UKRO’s work Christina is happy to hear from you – her contact details are on page 5 of the report document.
