The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI2) has launched its Call 17.
The IMI Joint Undertaking is a public-private partnership (PPP) between the European Commission and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). As part of the Horizon 2020 Programme, the call has an overall estimated budget of nearly €84 million. It is a standard IMI two-stage call, with the deadline for short proposals on 25 April and for full proposals on 7 November 2019. Applications should be made through the Funding & Tender Opportunities Portal.
The call covers the following topics:
- Optimising future obesity treatment;
- Open access chemogenomics library and chemical probes for the druggable genome; and
- Intelligent prediction and identification of environmental risks posed by human medicinal products.
The IMI will hold webinars on this call from 23 until 31 January 2019, covering call topics, application and the evaluation process.
